You need a BLOG strategy for your company to establish relevant, reliable and recent content. The exact types of content that Google rewards with organic ranking.
This quick list doesn’t cover every single rule under the sun. Rather, the following five SEO tips are the essential on-page SEO factors to get you started with an SEO strategy for your blog in particular.
1. Focus on one to two keywords that match the intent of your ideal reader. In other words, know what keywords people are using when they’re searching for what you sell.
2. Include these one to two keywords in specific parts of your blog post.
3. Make sure your blog is mobile-friendly. If your website is not optimized for mobile responsiveness, you get penalized. It’s that simple.
4. Optimize the meta description. The meta description is the small piece of text below the blue link of a search result. Its purpose is to describe the contents of the page to the searcher. Google generally truncates snippets more than 300 characters. Make sure your meta descriptions for your blog posts are long enough that they’re descriptive. We generally recommend writing meta descriptions between 50–300 characters.
5. Optimize your page titles. Page titles should be no longer than 70 characters in length and should include, but not repeat keywords.
